HP Intros 2000z Series Notebook Starting at $350

HP has introduced a new entry-level 15.6-inch notebook, the 2000z. It features an AMD Fusion processor and up to 5.5 hours of battery life. The 2000z is available with both single- and dual-core AMD Fusion accelerated processing units (APU), which combine a processor and dedicated AMD Radeon 6310M graphics on a single chip. The available processors include the following:
The 2000z features a 15.6-inch display (1366x768 resolution), 2GB-4GB of RAM, up to a 500GB hard drive, and a six-cell battery which lasts for up to a claimed 5.5 hours of life. Its starting weight is 5.5 lbs and it measures about 1.2 inches thick. A one-year warranty is standard.
The HP 2000z is available now starting at $349.99 with an AMD C-50 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive.
