Alienware Discontinues M15x Gaming Notebook?

Alienware's 15.6-inch gaming notebook, the M15x, has seemingly disappeared without a trace from Dell's website. It has also been removed from international sites including Dell Latin America and Dell Australia.

The m15x was one of Alienware's bread-and-butter gaming notebooks - we reviewed it here. It is possible Dell decided to replace the notebook with the introduction of the new 14-inch M14x. Alienware's current lineup consists of the M11x (11.6-inch), M14x (14-inch), M17x (17.3-inch), and the announced but not yet for sale M18x (18.4-inch). Some M15x systems can still be found in the Dell Outlet refurbished/redistributed online store.
