Dell Introduces New Vostro 3000 Small Business Series

Dell announced the Vostro 3000-Series small business notebooks today, including the 13-inch Vostro 3350, 14-inch Vostro 3450, 15-inch Vostro 3550, and the monster-sized 17-inch Vostro 3750. Some of the models were tested by Dell to deliver up to 12 hours of unplugged battery power.

The series is built with second generation Intel Core i-Series processors and are the first Dell small-business notebooks to feature SRS Premium Voice Pro, a higher performance voice and audio feature. Also included is the built-in HD webcam. The notebooks have an aluminum finish and will be available in silver, red, bronze.

The 3000 notebooks also include USB 3.0 ports, Bluetooth 3.0 tech, switchable graphics, a fingerprint reader, and Trend Micro security services for added business-grade security.

The Dell Vostro 3000 series notebooks will reach the U.S. and Dell's online store on March 22.

13-inch Vostro 3350: $600
14-inch Vostro 3450: $500
15-inch Vostro 3550: $500
17-inch Vostro 3750: $550

This line is expected to be a direct competitior to the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 14 and 15 small business notebooks.
