The 7-inch display will feature a 800 x 480 resolution, which disappointingly is the same resolution on Dell's 5-inch tablet, dubbed the Streak, due out this summer. Unlike the iPad, the Looking Glass gives users the option of outfitting it with a TV tuner. It also serves up 4 GB of RAM, an SD card slot to expand memory, 3G connectivity and a 1.3-megapixel camera. Dell's leaked documents do not mention a price other than to say it'll be "affordable." Dell adds that the tablet supports Flash and multitasking, two other features that differentiate it from Apple's iPad.
Dell's Looking Glass tablet weighs a little more than 1 pound and measures 7.8 inches x 5.1 x 0.5 inches. It’s the same thickness as the iPad and about a half pound lighter, though the iPad features a larger 9.7-inch screen.
