AMD Llano Notebook Platform Coming 2011: Quad-Core, DirectX 11

Details on AMD's Llano have leaked out. Llano is AMD's next-generation mobile processor featuring four cores and built-in graphics. The integrated graphics core will be DirectX 11-compatible as it is derived from the company's current ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5000 series core (Evergreen). Llano will be manufactured on a 32nm process and use DDR3 memory. The quad-core processor is expected to run at 3GHz+ clockspeeds and each core will have 1MB of cache for a total of 4MB L2.
Llano will feature new power-saving capabilities. Power Gating, which was introduced by Intel, allows a processor core to be almost completely powered off.
Expect to see Llano appear in 2011.
