HP Mini 110 Netbook Gets Colors, Video Acceleration
HP today added new options to its Mini 110 netbook - two colors and a Broadcom video accelerator chip. The two new colors are white swirl and pink chic; selecting either means adding $20 onto the price tag.
A Broadcom video accerator chip is a $30 option that allows for smooth HD video playback without stressing the processor. Users will need to use the ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre in order to take advantage of the video acceleration features, however.
