Touch Panels Coming to Netbooks Soon
According to a DigiTimes report, netbook makers are going to take an early start using touch panels. The touch panels will be used to take advantage of features in Microsoft's upcoming Windows 7 operating system. It is expected that netbook makers will be first to adopt the touch panels, followed by desktop monitors and notebooks. Touch screens on netbooks can take over touchpad functionality, which may allow for larger keyboards.
