Acer CULV Notebooks Launching in April
Acer is planning to introduce several notebook computers based on Intel's Consumer Ultra Low Voltage (CULV) platform this April. The notebooks will be available with screen sizes ranging from 11.6 to 15 inches.
The CULV platform allows notebook makers to produce models with large screens and light weight, all for between $560 - $700. The aim behind the CULV platform is the same as it was with netbooks - provide essential functionality without extravagant features.
