MSI introduces 13.4" X-Slim X320 'super portable' notebook
At CES 2009, Micro Star International (MSI) has introduced its latest notebook, the MSI X-Slim Series X320 'super portable notebook'. It weighs under three pounds and features a new 16:9 aspect ratio 13.4-inch widescreen display with LED backlighting (1366x768 resolution). At its thinnest point, it measures only 0.77 inches. MSI claims the notebook can go for up to ten hours on its available eight-cell battery; it comes standard with a four-cell.
Specifications include an Intel Atom Z530 processor running at 1.6GHz, up to 2GB DDR2 RAM, a 2.5-inch hard drive, three USB ports, and a built-in 3.5G network card. It is unknown at this time if this notebook is based on Nvidia's Ion platform.
Expect to see the MSI X-Slim X320 show up in the second quarter of this year for about $800.
