Today walking the show floor as many companies were still building their displays, we found a new concept notebook from Dell. This is a 16” Full HD notebook based on the M1530, with a stunning 1920x1080 resolution. While I wasn’t able to grab too much information from it, I do know that it has an Nvidia 8600m video card. I also managed to take a few screenshots before they realized what I was looking at and ushered me away from the display.

One interesting thing that a Dell rep mentioned to us was that the screen is made by a "new player" in the LCD market that they might be working with in the future. No names were given as to who this manufacturer was, but we'll try and track that information down in the rest of our time here in Vegas.

A shot of the screen, you can see an Nvidia 8600m graphics card is being used and the display resolution is a rather unusual (for a notebook) 1920 x 1080 resolution (view large image)

The concept 16-inch laptop from Dell looks a lot like the Dell XPS M1530 at first glance, but it really is a non-standard 16-inch laptop.
