Each month we compile data for the number of times a particular notebook is viewed on this sites product pages to get an idea for what mainstream consumers are looking at and thinking about buying. In January of 2007 the HP dv6000t, now offered with Windows Vista, holds very steady at #1. February promises to be a shakeup month as companies race to get Vista loaded on their notebooks to entice customers!

dv6000t1. HP Pavilion dv6000t (Previously #1) - The dv6000t is popular, and in a big way. No wonder though. Its 15.4" widescreen form factor is the most popular type and the dv6000t is widely available in stores. The cool design of the dv6000t with its imprint finish and offering of a powerful Core 2 Duo processor and Nvidia 7400 graphics card make this Vista loaded notebook a nice choice for a multimedia home PC. HP dv6000t Reviews | HP dv6000t User Opinions
Lenovo ThinkPad T602. Lenovo ThinkPad T60 (Previously #2) - The ThinkPad T60 is available with either a Core Duo or Core 2 Duo processor. It comes with either a 14" or 15" display, there is also a widescreen version of the 15" T60. This thin and light is all about business, featuring one of the best keyboards in the industry, dual pointing devices and optional integrated WAN. Lenovo ThinkPad T60 Reviews | Lenovo ThinkPad T60 User Opinions
Dell Inspiron e15053. Dell Inspiron e1505 / Inspiron 6400 (Previously #3) - The Inspiron e1505 holds steady from last month. The Inspiron e1505, sold as the Inspiron 6400 through Dell business, is fully customizable and now includes the Core 2 Duo processor, a high resolution 15.4" display and several drive options. Windows Vista now comes pre-loaded on any e1505 you configure. Dell has found a nice blend of performance and price with the e1505. Dell Inspiron e1505 Reviews | Dell Inspiron e1505 User Opinions
4. Toshiba Satellite A105 (Previously #5) - The A105 is flexible in configuration and can be had for a cheap price of $520 with a Celeron processor. It's a mainstream 15.4" screen notebook that's by far the most popular size notebook for first-time notebook buyers.  The A105 can be configured with a Celeron, Core Solo, Core Duo, or Core 2 Duo processor. The A105 is being phased out in favor of the Toshiba Satellite A135 now -- so although the A105 was popular, we recommend the A135 at this point. Toshiba Satellite A105 Reviews | Toshiba Satellite A105 User Opinions
Sony VAIO SZ5. Sony VAIO SZ (Previously #4) - Performance in a small package, that sums up the Sony VAIO SZ. The bright glossy 13.3" display is powered by dedicated graphics and a Core Duo processor. Sony also introduced an SZ4 recently available with Core 2 Duo.  The SZ has been popular for a long time and is holding very strong. It is now available with Windows Vista too. Sony VAIO SZ Reviews | Sony VAIO SZ User Opinions
Sony Sony VAIO C140G/B Notebook - VGN-C140G/B6. Sony VAIO C (previously #8) - Sony had a strong month having laptops in the top 10. The VAIO C is a portable 13.3" screen notebook that definitely competes with the Apple MacBook. The VAIO C has a Core 2 Duo processor and sleek design offered in multiple colors. The C200 series was introduced by Sony last month and it comes with Windows Vista. Sony VAIO C Reviews | Sony VAIO C User Opinions
Sony Sony VAIO N Series Notebook PC - VGN-N150P/B7. Sony VAIO N (previously #7) - The Sony VAIO N is a Core 2 Duo powered 15.4" laptop with a very stylishly clean and basic look. Sony designed this notebook for use around the home and to fit in with the decor of your house. A nice bright screen and price of under $1,000 makes the VAIO N standout as an affordable and good selection from the VAIO series. The recent offering of the VAIO N 200 series comes with Windows Vista loaded. Sony VAIO N Reviews | Sony VAIO N User Opinions
HP HP Pavilion dv90008. HP Pavilion dv9000z (new to top ten) - The HP dv9000z is an AMD Turion X2 powered offering with a 17-inch screen. You can now get the dv9000z with Windows Vista. The dv9000z offers a built-in number pad, lots of multimedia features, slick HP imprint wave design and best of all -- a price of around $1,000! HP dv9000z Reviews | HP dv9000z User Opinions
Acer Acer Aspire 5102WLMi - Turion 64 TL-50 1.6 GHz - 15.49. Acer Aspire 5102 (Previously #6) - The Acer Aspire 5102 is powered by the AMD Turion X2 dual core 64-bit processor.  The Aspire 5102 is a 15.4" widescreen notebook that can be had for a great price, around $900.  You get a 120GB hard drive, dual core processor, integrated web camera, 5-in-1 card reader and DVD Super Multi drive burner all for that price -- amazing!  The 5102 is available in electronics retail stores everywhere. Acer Aspire 5102 Reviews | Acer Aspire 5102 User Opinions
Apple MacBook10.  Apple MacBook (previously #10) - Starting at just $1,099, choose the MacBook in black or white, both with a brilliant, 13.3-inch glossy widescreen display and Core 2 Duo power. Nearly one inch thin, 5.2 pounds, 100% perfect for anyone who wants power in an affordable package. Apple MacBook Reviews | Apple MacBook User Opinions
