Jerry Jackson Bio

Jerry Jackson is the site editor for NotebookReview (since 2008) and Managing Editor of all the TechnologyGuide websites (since 2010). He is an industry expert in notebook PC technologies and is responsible for researching writing many of the reviews published on the site. He also works closely with the TechnologyGuide lab director and a stable of freelance writers to review the latest notebooks and technologies.

As NotebookReview editor of NotebookReview, Jerry maintains close contact with manufacturers and vendors worldwide, often dealing directly with product managers and system developers. His experience ranges from reviewing and evaluating a variety of laptops, from budget-priced netbooks to high-priced, high-performance mobile workstations. Jerry can regularly be seen at major trade shows and industry events, including the annual Consumer Electronics Show, Computex and other key events worldwide.

Jerry is based in TechnologyGuide's Cincinnati office where he manages the editorial team and conducts and supervises testing of new notebooks and accessories in the TechnologyGuide test lab. He is also a regular contributor to sister site DigitalCameraReview, thanks to his previous background as a magazine and photography book editor.
